Mandy as a mom
My homelife is much like my work life – fun and dynamic with a splash of chaos. I have two daughters, Matilda and Eloise, who keep my husband, Phil, and me on our toes between sports games and instrument practices. I have never claimed to be a dog person (hairballs, blech), but our furry son, Hershey, cracked our cold hearts right open, and now our Roomba vacuum works overtime.
MANDY AS A MUSICIAN
It will likely surprise no one that I grew up on and around the stage. I considered studying musical theater in college, but I soon discovered that there was too much drama on and off stage for my liking. Little did I know that the corporate world has its fair share of theatrics. ;)
I mention in Corporating that I moved to New York to pursue being a singer-songwriter in my early 20s. I released several original songs at the time and have continued to publish music as inspiration strikes. In 2025, I released two EPs: Corporating Cabaret and For M.E., both available wherever you stream your music.
Corporating Cabaret is the musical version of Corporating, the book. Organizations that hire me to speak often request that I integrate the music to keep audiences entertained as they learn. It makes for a very memorable experience to have live music.
Mandy as a mentor
I try to practice what I preach and give back when it comes to mentoring young professionals and volunteering in my community. Whether it’s at work, through my alumni network, or contributing to organizations that serve young people, I offer my most precious asset, my time, whenever I can. I believe that paying it forward isn’t just the right thing to do, but that the rewards of being a mentor far outweigh the time and effort that go into mentorship.
Mandy as a manager
Where would any of us be without a great team? I have the privilege of leading a global team in San Francisco and Amsterdam.
As the Vice President of Internal Communications, my work gives me purpose, and my team gives my work meaning. I take great pride in being the best manager I can be. I also enjoy being a member of the Prologis band, a group of professionals who like to jam and occasionally perform at corporate events.
Mandy was the first manager who truly encouraged me to explore my creative side at work. Where others would have seen boundaries… Mandy saw potential. This experience taught me that the right mentor can help you see yourself in ways you never imagined.
